WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Here at Niksskin Aesthetics we take your privacy very seriously:
For the safety of our clients, we maintain records of any health or medical conditions which may indicated that a particular service or treatment should not go ahead (e.g. allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions) or a particular product should not be used (e.g. products containing nuts, fish oils etc). Your health records are not used for any other purpose. Client records are held securely within our appointment booking system and can only be seen by members of the clinic team. We will not provide this information to anyone else, except if the law requires us to do so and we will not sell this information to anyone.
By booking online or paying a deposit through other booking options consent Niksskin Aesthetics to maintain such records while you are a client and to be stored as archive files if treatment is to stop.
CHILDREN
Our site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
DATA RETENTION
Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised. For example, data collected for marketing purposes will be deleted once you unsubscribe from our newsletter whereas data provided in connection with a purchase may be kept for 6 years for accounting purposes.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in newsletters and emails you may receive from us or you can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at enquiries@niksskin.com with the subject message “unsubscribe”.
You may also have certain rights in relation to personal information that we hold about you. These include the right to request access to your personal information, to request that it is erased, that its processing is restricted, or to correct any inaccurate personal information. You may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information, or in certain circumstances to receive a copy of your personal information in a machine readable format. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request for specific legal or other reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

NO FEE
You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
